The East African Regional Science, technology and Innovation Policy (2022-2033)

Abstract

The East African Regional STI Policy is aligned with regional EAC priorities as outlined in the EAC Vision 2050, the national development objectives of Partner States, as well as with the Sustainable Development Goals and the Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy for Africa 2024 (STISA). To ensure the achievement of the EAC Vision 2050 objectives, the East African Regional STI Policy provides for key long-term objectives and strategies about EAC long-term development and integration pillars, as well as the Partner States’ common areas of interest as per their respective Science, Technology and Innovation policies.
