1. Commend the Government and the people of Kenya for undertaking peaceful elections. 2. Congratulate H.E. UHURU KENYATIA, CGH and H.E. WILLIAM RUTIO, EGH for being elected President and Deputy President respectively of the Republic of Kenya and welcome H.E. President UHURU KENYATIA, CGH as a Member of the Summit of the EAC Heads of State. We further wish them success in serving the people of Kenya. 3. Congratulate Members of the Senate, National Assembly, Governors, Women Representatives and County Assemblies upon their election .. 4. Congratulate the RT. HON. RAILA ODINGA and H.E. KALONZO MUSYOKA for accepting the outcome of the Supreme Court judgment by ensuring that peace and stability in the East African region is not undermined. 5. Thank the Partner States of the EAC for standing with Kenya during the time of elections and the attendance of the Heads of State of the EAC Partner States during the swearing in ceremony of the President of Kenya.
