Regional Strategic Framework for e-immigration 2014/15-2019/20

Abstract

This framework provides an overview of the provision of the EAC Regional e-Immigration services and emphasizes the fact that the use of ICT applications in various immigration services improves internal efficiency and reduces costs of service delivery. It also enables better sharing of information and joint border control and enforcement. The electronic services are delivered via the Internet, telephone, electronic media, community centers (self-service or facilitated by others), wireless devices or other communications systems.
